This past Saturday, Navigo Pickleball Vacations proudly concluded our first-ever pickleball vacation in Costa Rica—and based on the glowing feedback from our players, it was a resounding success! This unique experience blended exhilarating pickleball action with unforgettable cultural and adventure activities, making it a truly bucket-list-worthy trip.

A Perfect Balance of Pickleball and Exploration

Our group enjoyed nearly 12 hours of social yet competitive pickleball at two of Costa Rica’s premier dedicated facilities in San José and Jaco Beach. Beyond the courts, however, the adventure truly came to life. Here are just some of the incredible experiences our travelers enjoyed:

• Immersing in Local Culture – We kicked off our journey with a guided tour of San José, followed by an exquisite meal at one of the city’s most popular restaurants, offering breathtaking views and a vibrant floor show featuring traditional Costa Rican dancers.
• Tasting World-Class Coffee – A visit to a renowned coffee plantation allowed us to sample some of the finest coffee in the world, straight from its source.
• Experiencing Natural Wonders – We ventured to the world-famous Poás Volcano, standing at an impressive 9,000 feet, before indulging in a private cooking class where we prepared and enjoyed Costa Rican culinary masterpieces over a glass of wine.
• Thrill-Seeking Adventures – The bravest among us took on one of the world’s largest zip line tours, featuring 10 platforms spanning over two miles of thrilling descents.
• Wildlife Encounters – A guided exploration of Manuel Antonio National Park introduced us to Costa Rica’s diverse wildlife, set against the backdrop of stunning Pacific beaches. We also embarked on a river cruise along the crocodile-rich Tárcoles River and visited an animal sanctuary, where we came face-to-face with sloths, monkeys, jaguars, and exotic birds.
• Luxury Accommodations & Local Flavors – We stayed in luxurious 4- and 5-star hotels, dined at top local restaurants, and were guided 24/7 by one of Costa Rica’s most knowledgeable and engaging tour experts.
