For our trip to Cuba, we could not have asked for a better experience. Working with Nate Marchand and Brad Hosey was very easy and reassuring that we were in good hands. We told them certain activities that we wanted to do on our trip and they made it happen! They took control of the challenging parts of figuring out the logistics and specifics of our trip for a large group of people and made it very easy and memorable for us!

Michigan Softball took its first-ever international trip to CUBA! The fantastic staff of Nate Marchand and Brad Hosey were well prepared, and attended to all the details. Our team had a wonderful experience and most importantly got to experience the incredible culture of the Cuban people. I would call upon Brad and Nate again in the future!

Our nine day trip was part cultural, part baseball and finally, a little down time that was needed by all. Action packed, exciting and rewarding are just a couple words that come to mind when thinking about our experience. “First Class” is what comes to mind when describing the planning and execution done by the guys from Navigo. Our experience with Navigo Sports Tours was perfecto. When planning an intercollegiate athletic team’s trip abroad for 40 student-athletes, coaches and family, members it is difficult to know who to trust. Our team had a great time exploring and enjoying all of what Costa Rica had to offer. The staff and people we worked with on our trip were very informative and did everything they could to make sure our experience was a great one. The trip was filled with various activities for us, which helped the group better understand the culture and take in all of Costa Rica. The schedule throughout the week was well balanced with activities and downtime for the group to relax and enjoy. I plan to take another trip with this group and would highly recommend them to others looking to take their team somewhere.

This was our first international trip with Navigo, and I would highly recommend them to any coach looking to take their team abroad. The predeparture staff was only outdone by the in country guides we met when we landed in Europe.  Navigo took all of the headache out of planning a 10 day trip for 30 people to 3 European countries.  Our players and staff were able to focus on our goals of cultural exploration, international cooperation, growing the game abroad, and team bonding while Navigo took care of the details.  The team was easy to work with to make adjustments to the schedule making sure that we got exactly what we wanted out of our trip.  We are looking forward to working with Navigo on our next trip in 4 years!

Our softball team traveled to Italy and we can say everything about the trip exceeded our expectations. We traveled with students and families and our goal for the trip was a combination of competition and culture and Navigo was excellent working with us and in handling all the details of both of those goals. Our international softball hosts were so welcoming. Our student-athletes had an experience they will never forget. The cultural aspects of the trip were also excellent. Our experiences everyplace we traveled were engaging, exciting, and surprising—from exploring all the sights of Rome, to a trip on the fast train to Milan, to a bike tour in Milan, to a trip to Lake Garda (and a beautiful town the whole group was charmed by), to a gondola ride in Venice—just to name a few. Navigo handled all the details of travel, competition, meals, hotels, and tours. Michael and Nadina, our tour guides, were so knowledgeable, patient, calm, and accommodating. When the details of the trip are handled so smoothly and communicated so well, the whole group can enjoy the planned activities and the free time without much stress. This was our second international trip with Navigo. For both, Navigo worked with us to develop the trips and activities that best suited the teams’ needs. We hope for more international experiences and highly recommend Navigo.

Our program’s trip to the Netherlands and Belgium was a career highlight for me as a coach. Our team, staff, and family members all had an incredible time experiencing local history and culture and playing competitive volleyball matches. I was really impressed with how easy it was to work with Navigo in the planning phase as well as on the actual trip. Their flexibility in creating an itinerary that worked for our group and intentionality in making connections and meeting needs while on the ground were highlights for us. We plan to travel again and will use Navigo again in the future.

This was our first experience with Navigo and the experience was simply fantastic. John (Czifrik) and the Navigo team set up an amazing trip for us into Switzerland and France this past August (2023). They were attentive and responsive during the organization process, and continued to check-in following our return. The level of hockey and atmospheres for our competitions were amazing and the places we visited (Geneva, Chamonix, Gap, Antibes, Nice, Monaco) were incredible. Our tour directors, Lucy & Javi, were top-notch and did an exceptional job adjusting on the fly when we experienced inclement weather. With minimal travel experience within our group, they managed to provide us with a nice balance of comfortable accommodations, and genuine local cultural experiences. Everything ran incredibly smoothly whether we were on the tour bus, or traveling via public transport. We set out to provide our student-athletes an opportunity to play some hockey while experiencing some unfamiliar cultures and we could not be more pleased with how this trip went. The trip exceeded expectations. The price was fair and our hosts (tour guides) were fantastic. There was a great balance between our training goals and the goals of seeing some of the amazing history of Italy. To see the history of Rome and Pompeii along with seeing the beauty of the Amalfi Coast was unbelievable. As a team we grew so much closer because of having to rely on each other to navigate a foreign transit system and ways of communicating. We will go abroad again when we can.

We had a great experience with Navigo. Not only did they do a great job accommodating our large group (80+ travel party), they were extremely flexible and easy to work with throughout the planning process. They even made adjustments for us “on the fly” during the trip. Even with changes in leadership, both on our team and in our athletic department, John and Michael went above and beyond to ensure the trip would continue without any hiccups. They were professional, flexible, and great communicators throughout the planning process – making the trip preparation easy for players and coaches. The actual trip itself was incredible. We had a full itinerary including guided tours, games, team lunches/dinners, and some downtime to explore both Florence and Rome on our own schedule. A few highlights for me included a team cooking class, a guided bike tour through Florence, the trip to the Colosseum, and the food throughout the entire trip! Overall a wonderful, very memorable experience that I would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful trip to Italy, it was everything I could have hoped for when planning it. Navigo was professional and helpful from start to finish. They were always available when I had questions before we left on the trip, then once we arrived in Italy their tour directors did everything possible to make it a fantastic experience. The clubs we trained at were nice and the tennis competition was the perfect level for our team. Each day was a great mix of site seeing and free time to explore on our own. I also highly recommend the bike tour in Naples. We certainly plan to use Navigo for our future team trips.
